Lake of Egypt is a private lake, and the Marion/Shawnee National Forest KOA is a private resort. The grounds in and around the marina are private property. To access the water, you will need to be a registered KOA guest, hold a water park pass, or pay a separate access fee at the KOA General Store. Because we own and operate the water park, beach, and lake access here, we are able to keep it clean, safe, and well maintained for everyone who visits.
